THE USEFUL AND USELESS WORK OF THE SERVANT OF GOD.
THE SERVANT AS A MAN IS USELESS (LUKE 17:10)
Useless to do God's will for ourselves, but useful
when we do the will of God through his power.
-Luke 17.10 "So also you, when you have done everything that has
been ordained, say: We are useless servants, for what we should do,
we did."
-Psalm 115.1 "Not to us, O Jehovah, not to us, but to your name
give glory, for your mercy, for your truth. "
-John 15.5 "..because apart from me you can do nothing."
-Philippians 2.13 "because God is the one who produces love in you
as doing, by his good will. "
These (and others: Isa. 64: 6; Matt. 23: 1-7; Rom. 9:11; Eph. 2: 8-9) portions of the
Holy Scripture shows us how useless we are for ourselves
themselves to please God, because of our imperfection and baseness
as men, therefore it must be with their power and competence to
his glory, so that no one glorifies himself. But we also see the
reward that God has when we take His power to make His
will, because it is a work that God produces by making us participate in
her and living it and not as a man-made machine.
-2a.Timoteo 2.21 "So, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be
instrument for honor, sanctified, useful to the Lord, and ready for all
good deed. "
-Matthew 25.29 (Lk. 19.26) "For to the one who has, it will be given, and he will have more; and
from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. "
useful servant).
-Psalm 19.8.11 "Jehovah's commandments are upright, they gladden the
heart .. "v.11" Your servant is also admonished with them; in keeping them
there is great reward. "
-Revelation 2.26 "To the one who overcomes and keeps my works to the end, I
I will give authority over the nations. "
-Matthew 5.19 "So anyone who breaks one of these
very small commandments, and so I taught men, very small
will be called in the kingdom of heaven; plus anyone who does them and
teach, this one will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "
We can also see how great is the loss of the one who receiving
God's ability to do his will, he does not take advantage of it, but
scatters (Luke 11.23), we are not talking about losing salvation,
which is sure (Romans 11.29), but loss of rewards,
exaltation of God, which has harsh consequences for us as
children and as servants of God:
-Matthew 25.14-30. v.15 "To one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to
each one according to its capacity. . "(given by the Lord) v.26
"His lord answered and said to him: Negligent and negligent servant, did you know that ..."
v.30 "And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and
gnashing of teeth. "This is (v.30) for apostates (Heb.6.4-8; 1a.Tim.4.1
-3; a.John 2.19.) not for Christians, but they could imitate them with
great loss (Heb.1 0.26-31),
God's judgments for his people.1st Cor. 3.15 "If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss, although he
He himself will be saved, though as well as by fire. "That fire means judgment
in the meat:
1st Cor. 5.5 "such one be delivered to Satan for destruction of the flesh, to
so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. "
James 4.17 "And to him who knows how to do good, and does not do it, it is sin."
(useless servant).
-Matthew 5.19 "So anyone who breaks one of these
very small commandments, and so I taught men, very small
will be called in the kingdom of heaven .. "
Recommendations for the sons and daughters of God as servants of God:
-1a.Timoteo 4.16 "Take care of yourself and of the doctrine; persist in
it, because doing this, you will save yourself and those who hear you. "
(you will save: from loss).
-1a.Pedro 5.6 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that he
exalt you when it is time; "(humbling ourselves).
The only useful servant by himself is the Son of Man because
Being the True Master, he did not come to be served but to
serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28;
Mark 10:45) What incomparable service from a perfect love to
favor of your fellow servants! So if Christ being ours
Master served us until death and death on the cross, the more
us being his servants and fellow servants at the same time;
it is essential and urgent to serve you out of love and gratitude to
OUR DIVINE CONSERVE AND LOVE, bearing witness to
our faith through good works that God prepared of
beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2: 8-10;
Hebrews 12: 1-3; James 2: 18-24)1st Peter 5.6 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that
he will exalt you when it is time; "(humbling ourselves).
Wonderful example that the Lord invites us to live it
to be exalted when it is time for the
grace of God may not be in vain with us as it is
It was in the apostle Paul that he humbled himself under the
mighty hand of God and was greatly exalted 1st Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace has not been in
vain for me, before I have worked more than all of them; but no
me, but the grace of God with me. Galatians 2: 6 But of those who
they had a reputation for being something (what they were once nothing
it matters to me; God is no respecter of persons), therefore, those of
Reputation nothing new was communicated to me. (Those with reputations,
prestige or good fame Proverbs 22: 1 Of more esteem is the good
name than many riches, and good fame more than silver and
gold. Ecclesiastes 7: 1 Good fame is better than good ointment.)
These were the apostles of Jesus Christ who preached and taught the
new Covenant of Grace, the same one that the apostle preached and taught
Paul in his 13 epistles: Romans d.C. 60; 1st. Corinthians A.C. 59; 2nd.
Corinthians A.D. 60; Galatians A.D. 58; Ephesians AD 63; Philippians A.C. 62;
Colossians d.C.62; 1st Thessalonians AD 51; 2nd Thessalonians AD 51;
1st. Timothy A.C. 65; 2nd Timothy AD 66; Titus A.C. 65; Philemon A.C. 62;
, confirmed in the four gospels Saint Matthew A.D.
from 1 to 33; San Marcos AD from 30 to 33;
St. Luke d.C. from 1 to 33; San Juan d.C. from 30 to 33,
on universal cards: 1
d.C. 60, and 2 d.C.66, and that of foundation d.C.68 Hebrews of the apostle Peter.
and the three universal epistles 1 A.D. 90, 2 A.D. 90, 3 A.D. 90 and Apoc.
d.C.96 of the apostle John. A.D. 60 Santiago; A.D. Judas 66
Steps that we will have to live according to the grace of God in us:
1) To live humiliated before the powerful hand of God so that he may make us
work intensively on your work
2) That we do not care about the past of the Lord's servants who are of
reputation.
3) Live in a specific way, especially those of us who are gentle,
the word of God that commands us to imitate his apostle Paul 1
Corinthians 11: 1: Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. (Galatians 2:
7But on the contrary, as you saw that I had been entrusted
gospel of the uncircumcision, as to Peter the one of the
circumcision 8 (for he who acted in Peter for the apostolate of
circumcision also acted on me toward the Gentiles)
4) Educate yourself in all the word of God and put it into action.
Exaltation of God for those who imitate the apostle Paul because if
we imitate it we also imitate Christ:
2 Timothy 4: 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have
faith kept.8 Furthermore, the crown of
justice, which the Lord will give me, a just judge, on that day; and not just
me, but also all who love his coming.
AMEN AND AMEN
